Earth day 2020 is an Earth Day like no other. So many of us are staying at home, wary of the pandemic flooding around us. One of the main causes of this pandemic is the violence we have subjected our planet to through global warming (or more properly global weirding).
As the planet’s climate warms and changes, and as fires and violent weather ravage the land and sea, wild animals are losing their habitats and are being driven to live closer and closer to humans–raising the dire chance of deadly animal viruses passing over to us. We have seen this happen with Eubola, Sars, and now, with today’s coronovirus.
More than ever, we need to stand up and shout for world-wide action on global warming. This year many of us will need to do this digitally. Here are three digital events you and your family can participate in today.
1. Watch Earth Day 2020 LIVE
2. Participate in 24 HOURS OF ACTION
3. Share these EARTH DAY GRAPHICS on Social Media
