I just discovered your website and saw that a good portion of my paper on the immune system as presented through the Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method is there from the Science Teacher’s Bulletin.  It means much to me that my work as science teacher using this method, and the good effect that it had on so many of my students over the years, is present in this website.  I am glad it is reaching people.  What Eli Siegel saw about education and has, over the decades, enabled teachers like myself to accomplish is exciting and so needed in education today.  Since my retirement in 2004, I have been a good deal of time presenting at conferences.  Perhaps our paths will cross in the future and we can talk further.

All the best,

Rosemary Plumstead

Subject: Re: to Dr. Koster: a request

Dear Dr. Koster,

First of all, I want to thank you for concern.

I’ve just been able to explored your website This is a great resource for both teachers and parents, and teacher candidates and educators, too. I’ve also watched your videos on youtube. Articles and lessons on the website are also very beneficial.

Actually, peace education is essential in our world today. We should integrate values, peace, environmental, cultural, anti-bias education programs in our curriculums at all levels. For increasing quality of our curriculums, such kind of these websites are important to share ideas, practices and thoughts.

Although it could be difficult, you may consider allowing multi languages on the website. And also, you can include a number of educational programs focused on peace education. In addition, a periodical journal can be thought to raise and share articles about peace subjects.

By the way, I will advice this wonderful website to my collegues and students. I am sure they will find alot of things about peace education and contribute to the website by joining the forum.

Thanks again,

Best regards.

Subject: Question about bullying on
Hi there! How're you today? :)
I hope it's ok that I'm contacting you. My name is Candice and I wanted to
thank you for putting up your page with such helpful resources on bullying
( I work as a school counselor
and I am so impressed with the work and dedication that you've devoted to
your resource!
Our school has decided to join in the fight against bullying by launching
what we're calling "the inclusion project"- it's a program that brings the
kids together to participate in community service activities in an effort to
promote fellowship. :) To make the kids fully aware of bullying, we're
publishing a section on our website with bullying guides and information and
we're definitely including your page!
Here's another guide that we're including that I thought you might like to
add to your page along with your other goodies
( I
found it in my searching and this resource is a wonderful guide for kids
explaining what bullying is, the effects it can have on students, and advice
on how to deal with bullying if it happens to you. I think your visitors
will like it as much as ours will! I would love for you to look it over and
let me know what you think. Thanks again and hope I could help!
All the best,
Candice :)

Subject: Broken link on your site

Happy Thursday!

I was looking through your sensational list of bullying resources on this page ( when I noticed a broken link.  It’s the Stop Bullying Now link (  I think they have since changed the page for this resource.  Is there any way I can reach the webmaster so I can alert them to this and they can update the page?

Also, if you are open to reviewing new resources, I work for, an organization that also has a great list of bullying materials and seems like it would be a great fit on your site.  They are all free and give some great actionable advice to parents and kids. Would it be ok if I passed along some materials for you to review in case you want to add them to your list?

Thanks for all you are doing to help provide bullying resources to those who need it!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Subject:    Student based social action project

I am a graduate student at Towson University located in Baltimore, Maryland as well as a teacher.  I am designing a program for middle school age students that is geared toward students taking social action.  I am in the beginning stages of the program development and came across your website.  I found  numerous resources on your website and was wondering if your organization had any additional materials that could help me decide which direction I would like to take this program.  I saw your organization sponsors peace groups and was wondering if you may have additional materials or resources.  As I mentioned, I plan on implementing this program in the school that I teach at and want to have a well developed and sustainable design before I submit it to my school and district level supervisors.  Thank you for y our time and I look forward to looking at anything that you may  be able to provide.  Thank you.
